Power Rangers: SPD, a show made 15 years-ago that takes place 5 years from now, begins with a latina and a black man who break the law to help the poor because the police themed Power Rangers with giant military vehicles don’t care about them.


Oh and all of the Power Rangers who’ve ignored the poor at the start of the series are white

I stopped watching the series right after this one so yes, I am very family with SPD. Jack was a real nikka, and I didn’t know the yellow ranger was latina

My nikka Joel was simping hard all season and finally got to smash that.

I can’t agree with you there though. Lightspeed Rescue was amazing and Time Force is top 5 in the franchise. Fell off from there once Saban sold the franchise to Disney.

Dope. I was less hyped about this iteration back in the day, but it's refreshing to see a Black man take the red costume again. I need to rewatch. Is it available on netflix?
