In light of Cormega making it on King’s Disease, I revisited some of the tracks he did after Nas put out Destroy and Rebuild. Not sure if everyone on here heard these mixtape tracks so I thought it would be good to share.
Personally, I always thought “Poetry” was a highly underrated diss track and a lot more potent than many other attempts towards Nas. And being that Mega new Nas personally, it made these records and his claims feel a lot more genuine. That 2nd verse wherein he uses Nas’ song titles throughout was dope too.
Who else thought this was tough?
Then there was this Slick Rick inspired diss (like Destroy and Rebuild). This was cool too.
