Watching Green play like a madman during preseason has me realizing that Danny made one of those moves that seemed terrible and gutless at the time. Boston was ready to burn him at the stake. Now, if Green stays as healthy as he is now :youngsabo:

C's have people like Bass, Sully, Wilcox, Melo to pick up the slack perk did.

What say you?

It was dumb to draft Green with Durant to begin with. Even dumber to give Perkins money.

However it might not be that terrible since Dwight is in the West now.

Celtics obviously won the trade, Perkins is pretty much useless after his injuries and doesn't fit OKC.

Aside from Green, Celtics also recieved a productive season from Krstic and a 1st rounder (Fab Melo) and they were also awarded a 2nd rounder in which they used to aquire Courtney Lee during this off-season.

Danny Ainge is a genius GM really, very good at making the right moves at the right time.
