The fact RZA made this, OB4CL and LS all in one year is fukking mindblowing

GOAT producer
That might be the GOAT year for a producer. Rza was in his bag in 95. Too bad we didn't get Decks album around that time that was lost in the flood... Damn.
That Dirty album was crazy, remember getting the tape and playing the hell out of it that year, the production on there was top notch and Dirty was entertaining all the way through. Definitely was one of my fave projects to drop that year.

It's definitely a chaotic album that somehow works, musically and thematically. But it is also the chaos that causes people to dismiss it.

That’s true

Been meaning to making this same exact thread.

It might low key be the most underrated 90s album.

Album is full of bangers, and RZA’s production was grimey af on that album.

For real?!

I would agree for the simple fact you had ODB and RZA at the top of their artistic peak, making some of the most pure and raw Hip Hop music that sounds like nothing else that came before it or after and yet it never really gets brought up as much as a lot of other hip hop albums of the 90’s. It’s original.

ODB’s voice and rapping meshes perfectly with the production RZA gave him.

Great post, bruh! :salute::myman:

Long term it is one of my most played Wu projects. Still always a great listen when I do. Not really any album every released that sounds like it.

Same here

Exactly! :yes:
