how much rest do my brehs/brehettes get between sets
Is three minutes the norm

it depends what you're doing fitness, strength work, compounds, free weights etc etc

If you're doing drop sets, creating high lactic environment, you want very short rest < 30 seconds

It honestly varies from person to person from session to session IMO.

A good baseline is what @GinaThatAintNoDamnPuppy! said but at the end of the day, I just listen to my body.

I try to ensure I'm maintaining a good pump and heart rate but at the same time, I don't want to overexert myself to the point that I'm getting diminishing returns.

40s for isolation stuff
5 minutes between exercises
3 minutes for heavy compound lifts

:ohhh:5-10 mins for squats??? My rest time is prolly a minute or 2
I'm doing legs today so ill try that out

1 to 2 min rest for all
Squats/deads are like the biggest body exercises

I don't think any other exercises come close as far as range of motion or weight lifted

Let metabolic recovery happen creh.... your shyts will skyrocket

You're working bass ackwards if you're rushing through your heavy compounds.
It's moreso being in the zone. Like when I did German volume training it was like 45 mins to do 100 on squats
