OP has a point tho, Jeezy does seem to have a certified core fanbase that will support him. After all those pushbacks and the fiasco surrounding TM103 it still managed to do 233,000 1st week and is gold now and prolly be around 700k by the end of the year.

and bad copies of jeezy started poppin up every week. As of today he's still got the streets, but Ross has a good share as well, but Ross is a bigger mainstream figure cause he makes himself visible in those crows and interacts with those crowds (even though Jeezy's singles and albums have more success mainstream wise). IMO there is room for more cats than Ross and Jeezy too..
