It really makes no sense to me why nobody can make a decent Resident Evil movie. There's plenty of quality material within the series. Just tighten up the writing a little bit and the rest is presentation and visuals. It shouldn't be that difficult.

This is the 3rd, "Major studio release", I've seen this year with what looks to be ScyFy Original level CGI. I think they are trying to normalize that to save costs down the line.
