Then liberals/LGTBQ/etc. need to move smart on social media and stop doing shyt that gives right-wing zealots ammo and reasons to discriminate against them.
I seen/heard about TikTok videos that were outlandish like where teachers had students pledge allegiance to the rainbow flag and laughing about it.
Clout is a drug and if you’re not careful you’ll end up causing more harm to yourself and possibly others.

Right wingers will always find content to rally against even if they have to manufacture it out of thin air (ie the whole CRT being taught in grade school thing)
True but when it’s actual teachers posting/doing shyt that a reasonably minded person finds questionable it creates a perfect villain for the GQP that puts the left on defense.
if they were posting videos without having it tied to an occupation that involves children then it’s a nothing burger. But I have seen SOME videos of teachers posting shyt on TikTok and it’s like “What are you doing?!?”
Even the story about the teachers in California monitoring the kids computers searching stuff on Google about transgenders, then tracking the same students down to push discussions about gender identity/transgenderism, etc.
Most of the culture war shyt is exaggerated by the right because they are in desperate need of characters and villains to root against, my argument is liberals doing shyt that’s not necessary, albeit out of no ill will, gives ammo to Repubs and rally their base.

what would an organic change look like?
It wouldn't be getting pushed by teachers and the media. Pushback against it wouldn't be censored. There wouldn't need to be mandatory pronouns punishable by government action for noncompliance. Theres a concerted effort by influencers to push gender nonconformity as something not only normal, but cool and special. GID is a medical condition, not a hip trend. You have to be blind not to see it.

I believe it’s symptomatic of a postmodern society. Nothing is really true anymore, and old paradigms and standards are being questioned and even challenged. I don’t see anything wrong with what a person chooses to identify as, so long as it is not coerced. It’s incredibly cringy, sure, but most of the time it’s harmless.

This is true. But on the other hand, no group on Earth can control 100% of the people on their side. There will ALWAYS be idiots and people going too far on every side of an issue.
The problem is that the right has somehow made it that gun-toting, science-denying, woman-abusing, openly-racist traitors to American elections are not a disqualifying element to middle America. But flamboyant gay folk and radical black folk are a bridge too far.
If only there was somebody on Tiktok that could get people to care about climate change as much as they do gay people
The problem is that supporting gay folk doesn't require anyone to actually change their life substantially (unless you structured your life around hating gay people). Calling for actions that are basically neutral are low-hanging fruit. "Don't hate gay people." "Don't hate Black people." "Don't go to war." "Support DACA." "Support gun control." - all that shyt is nice, but it doesn't really affect the lives of its adherents at all.
Combating climate change, combatting wealth inequality, that shyt requires many Americans to actually change their own lives. And that's too much to ask of most people.
