They simply say the kind of shyt their audiences want to hear.
Haven't you ever thought about why right wingers seem to love AI more than the left?
The right doesn't understand or value creativity. They have an idea of "correct" art vs "wrong" art and they are DEEPLY attached to nostalgia. At its root conservatism rejects the new and only accepts what it sees as "natural" and "pure". To them it's merely a coincidence that what is "natural" puts them at the top and others below. So AI art which is a low risk amalgam of existing art that requires no talent or struggle to produce is an amazing invention to them.
They don't like unions, worker co ops, or really anything that allows workers to take ownership of their labor and demand adequate compensation. AI chat bots eliminate entire departments. They get an employee that will never quit, never get sick, never talk back, and most importantly:never ask for more money.
They've become like robots themselves. They simply repeat talking points over and over again and they've had enormous success convincing the dumbest people alive that a talking point is as valid as empirically verified, research tested and observable facts. So this is how you end up with a guy saying multiculturalism is wrong while also being married to an Indian. Their politics are simply a bundle of talking points and slogans that accomplish nothing other than telling people that somehow it isn't the billionaires who have complete economic, intellectual(through the media outlets they own and bankrolling politicians that cut school funding) and financial(they own the companies most people work in) dominance that are the problem, but instead someone with an accent, different skin color, or confusing gender presentation.
Somehow it's not the people with actual power making your life miserable, it's the guy who speaks with broken English and works a 9-5 at a local grocery store that they should be mad at.
