Question for ya'll: Does Todd Akin do more damage to the Republican image and brand if he wins or if he loses?

If he loses the "sane" Republican facade is strengthened becuz they all got in line to shyt on him. If he wins, then its look "those crazy religious idiots will literally vote for anyone"

Plus he will become a hero to the crazy evangelicals and further split the republican party.

I'm no huge fan of Obama but I'll vote for him just out of spite for the Republicans. I guess what they say about American politics is true, American voters don't really vote for candidates, they vote against candidates.

that's a 6 yr senate position he's running for. republicans don't care about any minor backlash, they want to win that joint.
