Was just just browsing the net when I came across this for the first time:

Never heard about this movement before or this Chokwe Lumumba character. But I see that Lumumba became mayor of Jackson, Mississippi last year. Anyone think anything positive will come out of this?

This movement will gradually die down over time and none of its goals will be accomplished.

The economy is becoming so bad that some states are considering seceding from the USA. If that happens then black people can move to that state.

@Eric Blair I'd disagree. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET EQUALITY HERE. I dont understand why people think that they are when its been proven for over 400 years to be the opposite. In fact, in most places, blacks are not going to get equal treatment being the minority. Its just how it is. So the best thing is to find our own thriving communities OR go back to Africa where we are the majority and bring our talents/knowledge there to build it up. But people seem to be scared to follow thru with either and rather suffer through inequality hoping and wishing for a better day.

That some shyt far off into the future imo if America were to ever splinter into different countries within the continent. Personally, I think they'd be better served opening lines of economic cooperations with Africa and the Caribbean and develop those rural parts of the south that are black dominated.

You probably right. But MLK's "dream" didnt come to fruition but still we benefited from him TRYING to get his dream across. Kinda like the cause and effect thing I mentioned...
