The New York Knicks have reached an agreement with Jeff Hornacek on a three-year deal to become the team's head coach, The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski reports, citing league sources.
The arrival of Hornacek has largely been viewed as a surprise, as many believed Knicks president Phil Jackson would look to retain interim coach Kurt Rambis given his commitment to the triangle offense.

This will mark the second head coaching job of Hornacek's career, having spent two-and-a-half seasons as the Suns' bench boss from 2013-16.
