According To A New Report, The 'Dumb And Dumber' Actor Has Already Been Cast As The Villain And Is Set To Appear On Several Shows On Disney+ Including 'She-Hulk'.
AceShowbiz - Jim Carrey is reportedly heading to Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to a new report, the comedian has been cast live-action version of M.O.D.O.K. The actor allegedly will be portraying the villainous character for several shows on Disney+.
Reporting the cast were the moderators of r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers. According to them, Jim has already been cast as the villain and is set to appear on "She-Hulk" among others. It's plausible as the series has been described as a sitcom.
Should M.O.D.O.K. appear on "She-Hulk", it will not play a big part of the story. As Jameela Jamil's Titania will be the main villain of the show, the leakers noted that M.O.D.O.K. might simply be one of the foes that
Tatiana Maslany's Jennifer Walters faces off against.
The leakers also stated that Jim's M.O.D.O.K. could appear in "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania". It is, however, unknown whether M.O.D.O.K. will appear in his human form a.k.a.A.I.M. scientist George Tarleton or his disfiguring transformation.
Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, M.O.D.O.K. (the Mental Organism Designed Only For Killing) leads the villainous organization called as A.I.M. (Advanced Idea Mechanics). The organization is made off evil scientists from across the Marvel Universe against Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
Prior to this, MarvelStudiosSpoilers shared a bunch of rumored details about several of Marvel's upcoming Disney+ shows and movies. Among them was rumors that Blade will be making debut on "Moon Knight".
As for Jim, he's best known for his comedy movies including "The Mask" (1994), "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" (1994), "Dumb and Dumber" (1994) and "The Truman Show" (1998). He also starred in "Bruce Almighty" (2003) and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (2000).
Report: Jim Carrey Cast as Marvel Villain M.O.D.O.K. for Disney+ Shows
Interesting. If true I generally fukk with this, although MODOK seems too goofy for live action.
But for something like the She-Hulk show it fits.
