The Jets are moving on from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, so it comes as no surprise that they plan to do the same with wide receiver Davante Adams.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports the Jets are taking calls about Adams, and if they can’t get a deal, the team is expected to release the six-time Pro Bowler.

It seems unlikely the Jets will find a taker, considering Adams is scheduled for a cap hit of more than $38.25 million for 2025. The Jets can save $29.877 million with Adams’ release.

Adams could rejoin Rodgers on a third team after the two played together with the Packers and the Jets.

Adams made 67 catches for 854 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games with the Jets after the trade from Las Vegas. He has not made the Pro Bowl since 2022, though he has five consecutive 1,000-yard seasons.

He still has a lot of juice left. Many teams will be tying to obtain his services. Chargers, 49ers, Chiefs, Ravens should be his primary suitors. All contenders. The Bills, too. Amari Cooper is the epitome of inconsistency and Kincaid hasnt become the star tight end that they thought he would be.

He can be a good number 2 in 2025
The problem is that he won't accept a number 2 role. The team could be successful/winning, culture could be good and he'd still be mad about not receiving enough receptions or TDs. I don't want that hassle. Especially if I'm the Giants and have a clear cut #1 WR like Nabers.

He'd be a great add for the Chargers, could be back on the west coast and be the #1.
Texans if they not planning to keep Diggs would be a good fit as well, or even the Broncos.
Several options for him on good teams with good QBs, but how he's made decision on where to go the last two times he'd probably be dumb enough to go to the Saints

Norfeast groovin…
Not that the Raiders are better, but he was better off staying than going to the Jets. I figured he was gonna go to the Ravens or Bills or even the Eagles but not the Jets.

He should go to the Commanders. Quit making stupid ass team choices and join a team with a real QB.
