Trader Joe's has a good sprouted grain bread that is low in carbs. Sometimes it can be hit or miss trying to find them. Your local Walmart or BJs should have Joseph's Pitas or Lavash bread. I think the pitas are about 4 net grams of carbs, and it might be the same for the lavash bread after you cut it in half (it's pretty big)

Why?

If you want another carb source, potatoes are hard to beat.

You can try the P28 bread. Two slices gives you 28 grams of protein. No high fructose corn syrup neither. I know you are looking for an alternative to bread, but if you find you can't break away from it immediately you can substitute with that break. You can cop from Whole foods.
