I don't have any ounce of faith in us getting Reparations from this country because of how racist America has been toward blacks but the history that he covers is great to understand. The institutions he wants to set up need to be put into action. The thought of Group Economics needs to be implemented. Don't just watch for Reparations...watch for enlightenment & ideas.
this is an old video & in present day he has given up the idea of Reparations. He is fighting for Seminole Black Indian rights though (and he should)

Ok, I'm not familiar with all the views of Claude Anderson so maybe that was stretch. But I think the title of the video says it all. If we've got a black man telling us we need to fight for reparations he's leading us down the wrong path. It's not gonna happen. Why not talk about ways to fix problems in the black community?

And no, his idea of alienating all blacks from society is not the solution to fixing anything. He preaches hate. He refuses to acknowledge that black people can be racist. In fact he explicitly said it was impossible for a black man to be racist. That right there ruins all his credibility. I've seen his videos and I think he makes some good points sometimes, about how blacks need to start owning more businesses. But his segregation agenda won't do anyone any good. With the way the black community is right now, segregation would do the white man more good than it'll do us that's for sure.

this thread is really about History. As I said his aim for Reparations is now over...but its still good to know WHY we never got reparations while every other group has. He also is not for Segregation or Integration..but Aggregation of our money. Those words mean totally different things & when practiced right it would do wonders for blacks in this country. Everyone else is doing it except us, everyone else is eating except us. What we are doing now is not working & won't work...if you listened to his historical facts & trajectory of our race you'd know that but you are too caught up in Jesse & Al preaching "let's help everybody"

The problem is that aggregating our money isn't gonna really do anything. There's a reason why people aren't investing in impoverished black communities. It's not just white people that avoid doing business there, its any sensible person that avoids doing business there. Why would you want to build a business in a community that actively rejects all means of social order? These people aren't educated, they drop out of high school, and they can't talk proper english. The people in these communities are unemployable. No sensible black person is going to "aggregate" his money in these communities. The only money that needs to be spent is on how to instill the MOTIVATION within blacks to get themselves educated. We need to spend money on finding ways to tone down the out of wedlock birthrate. Claude Anderson's solution does not address these issues.

I do think all descendants of slaves people who were enslaved should get a free college education though. Advanced degrees included if they're eligible.​

you still want to treat a fever when you have an infection. Being poor is the reason for all of that. Why do dudes sell drugs? to get money...why do girls have multiple babies out of wedlock? to get money & more welfare. You get guys working & owning things again most of these issues will clear themselves up. Black men leave the home because they can't fill their role as 'the man' of the house. Most feel very insecure about their state of being and leave. Black Women feel shunned & bitter from this & relay it onto their kids. The cycle continues. Having money, jobs, and ownership of your community creates pride & stability.

how can pooling our money together not work for us when its working for everyone else? People are investing in black neighborhoods, Arabs OWN 141 out 146-148 gas stations in Detroit...blacks just aren't investing. Dr. Anderson isn't just blaming white people either. He criticizes blacks as well & presses the issue of re-establishing a sense of community.

dude is no where near an AL & Jesse...that's why you've never seen them together because what Dr. Anderson is talking about is about real solutions not just blaming cacs.

You're forgetting one thing. They don't have to sell drugs or have babies to get money. That's just their preferred way of doing it. And yes I understand it can be hard to find a job. None of that justifies selling crack to kids and ruining the community. Needing welfare to support your family is not justification to have another child born into a world of misery.
