catchin up on my DVR shows 4 the week n Im watchin Road Dawg on RAW singin w JJ
:snoop:
I thought about how RD reinvented himself during the Attitude Era from The Roadie to Road Dawg. Then I got to thinkin, who else got repackaged and actually made it work for themselves?

My personal favorite, Papa Shango/Kama Mustafa/The Godfather. My man Charles went from a horror character, to militant, to a Pimp, seamlessly.

Attitude era >>>>>>>>:salute:

Obviously that doesnt work for everyone cuz theres been people who got repackaged and turned bust.

Drop some wrestlers that were repackaged who made it work or not.

EDIT: My GOAT Austin was another good 1

Isaac Yankem to Fake Diesel to Kane the burnt up, necrophiliac, wait- that burn never happened, Big Red Machine

As much as I hate to say it but the Hoe Koegan/Hollywood Hoegan transformation saved his punk ass career.

From WCW Kole/Booker T the real nıgga to WWE Booker Tom/King Bookah the best friend that cacs refer to when they try to deny their racism.

Rocky Maivia to The Rock was a good one too. His first gimmick being corny forced his heel turn & saved his career, early.

Damn near all of those guys that were in the WWF during the cartoon days and stuck around for the Attitude days.

The Roadie repackaged as The Roaddogg and Smoking Gunn --->--->Rockabilly to Bad Ass Billy Gunn forming the New Age Outlaws is probably one of the best instances of taking 2 super dead in the water guys, throwing them together and striking gold. They're the main reason the WWE has constantly slapped two random guys together to see if they can do it again. It's failed more often than not. Same thing with them trying to find another Trish.

Bradshaw to JBL gotta be one of the biggest come-ups ever. Perennial midcarder to longest WWE champion in a decade within months. All because HHH didn’t wanna work Tuesday’s :wow:
That’s shyt was weird as fukk , I stopped watching for a week or so and he was totally a new Person:gucci:

That feud with Eddie was insane , I thought he really went to the border to assault those Mexicans :dwillhuh:

QUEENS NY
Kane is the biggest example, he got stuck with not one but two career killing gimmicks and managed to finally get a gimmick where he was one of they linear tenured guys on the roster
