Remember when you could listen to artists other than Hov and enjoy it just as much?

Im going to be honest here

I was sleeping on Hov for far too long

I started listening to Pac first and mainly westcoast artists-Dre, Cube, Snoop

I got into Eastcoast hip hop sometime later- BIG, Nas, Wu, Rakim, Kane.

I basically gave all these legends a chance but for some reason I couldnt get myself to go through Jay's discography. I thought he only rapped about money and jewels (I was wrong)

But then one day, I thought fu*k it and listened to Reasonable Doubt

My reaction= :dwillhuh:

Went through the In my Lifetime series, then Blueprint and The Black Album :ohhh:

I know he had some wack albums but his best albums are as good as any other rapper's.

And now I cant stop listening to dude.

Me- Lets listen to some Pac

A minute later :scusthov:

Goes back to listening to Hov

Lets listen to some BIG now

A minute later :scusthov:

Goes back to listening to Hov

fukk it lets put some Nas on. This dude ethered Hov

A minute later :scusthov:

Puts on Takeover :dj2:

:dj2:
