cats just wanted to root for a brotha named OJ
I mean, at one point he was. 
People forget how good of a high school player O.J. Mayo was, it just didn't pan out for him and pretty much peaked back then, but he was above Rose, Westbrook, and the rest of them and it wasn't just hype. But they definitely flew past him; Mayo really doesn't have the athleticism to be spectacular on this level in my opinion.

He was at 18 a night in his rookie season so people saying he would be better then Russy wasnt to farfetched back then. I dont know what happened but i thought at the least he would be a starting two guard for a contender getting 20 a night.
