Remember the Packers/Seahawks replacement ref blown call?

Most of us have probably already heard the implications of what it means on today's playoff picture... but I wanted to post this for anyone who still has not caught wind.

These are the SIX () things the call impacts -- all the way here in week 17:

1. Most notably, the Seahawks would not have clinched a playoff spot yet and they would be playing for a wild card spot just like the Vikings, Redskins, Bears, Cowboys, and Giants.

2. The Packers would have already clinched home field advantage.

3. The Packers play the Vikings this week who need a win to get in the playoffs. If the Packers had home field advantage there is a relatively good chance they would rest their stars.

4. Seattle can still get a first round by, which would not be possible with the extra loss.

5. San Francisco would have already clinched the division.

6. All the teams fighting for a wild card spot would have much better odds to make the playoffs.

But the Packers?

There is a chance that you get the first-round bye -- if Sea wins, and SF/GB both lose.

There is no reason we should be playing this game against Minny for serious today. But instead we're going to be out there risking the health of our starters just to get a first-round bye, and not home-field for the entirety of the playoffs.

That was such a joke, think about it, Cardinals starting 3-0 with them replacements hahaha

I don't understand why that call is so significant, there's been several calls with real and replacement refs that have been incorrect.

What if that "TD run" the Texans had against the Lions didn't count and they lose that game?

Texans would be flirting with a #5 seed right now.

It's part of the game. Your team will have a call incorrectly go against them. The Packers aren't special.

Would have already had the first week bye, but with a win today + Falcons loss, Packers would get home field.
