Why was Cosmic Wasteland even created? I think Cody had been wanted to rid himself of the Stardust gimmick at the time, and Ascension was dead in the water as soon as they changed their gimmick from goth in NXT to beta-Demolition. No notable feuds, never had a chance to look dominant, and never made you care for them to be taken seriously. I think Wade Barrett was in the stable for like a week or so, IDK remember, they were less impactful than The Truth Commission.
