Sony literally sold the PS4 and its software with the idea that you would be able to play your software across EVERY device.

Fast forward they failed to follow through on their promises.

Microsoft completes the mission, and now the idea is some terrible bane to the industry.

Sony stans :wow:

Let’s not even get on Gamepass

Everybody wanted the “netflix of gaming” before microsoft did it.

Now that microsoft achieved it, it’s a bad thing nobody wants

As always Microsoft dragging the industry kicking and screaming into the future :salute:

AAA handheld is next.

Can’t wait to hear yall arguments for why a AAA handheld console is a bad thing :ohlawd:

This is completely disingenuous. Gamers beef with Microsoft is the company has destroyed any reason to actually buy their hardware. Hardware sales have imploded as a result and they continue to lean further into the choice. It's a hardware death spiral and we all see where it's headed.

Xbox CEO comes out and says oh it's just these four games and everyone knew it was bullshyt and now many months later it's there are no red lines of what we won't bring to other platforms and Indiana Jones is coming to PS5 shortly after Xbox.

This wasn't born from a position of strength it was born from the fact that the company leadership is incompetent and couldn't deliver on enough software fast enough to make their hardware desirable. Hardware sales collapsed and as a result their subscription service customers stalled out as most subs are also Xbox owners. They didn't drag anybody into the future here their original business model and the one they pivoted to both fell apart so they had to move in a new direction.

Nintendo for example has the luxury of being as stubborn as they want to be on their business model and consumers will meet them where they're at. Xbox has to meet the consumers where the consumers are.

This is all made up in your dumb ass head. In reality xbox hardware is selling about the same as it always has, and “exclusives” aren’t a thing for any of the consoles anymore.

Bout to boot up Death Stranding on my xbox, and Horizon on my switch :blessed:

More shyt made up in your dumb ass head.

Literally in that same interview he said all games would be evaluated and years BEFORE that he said games would come to other systems on a case by case basis.

You guys just like to fight dueling cac tweets instead of what’s actually said.

Literally said the same thing months ago. Now why does the “redline” comment matter?

Cause yall like to play dumb for daps and controversy.

Yall would rather be fed BS

Then literally a week later

Crickets from you stans tho.

PS5 has ONE exclusive game and it’s a remaster of a PS3 game.

But we don’t hear you hollering about how the PS5 has no value since you can play everything everywhere else

Yes, the future is Digital, Streaming, Subscription, and games being available everywhere.

Microsoft did that, so yall can follow :wow:

I’m 1000% certain if sony would have followed through with their everything everywhere initiatives you goofballs would be totally on the other side of this argument

Nintendo for example has the luxury of being as stubborn as they want to be on their business model and consumers will meet them where they're at. Xbox has to meet the consumers where the consumers are.
No they don’t. They had to kill their entire handheld market and throw actual exclusives in the bushes like everyone else.

Switch2 will have no exclusives.

All switch 2 games will be available on switch 1 or 3.

But you would never argue the switch 2 has “no value” cause the games aren’t exclusive
