That year had so many anticipated debut albums it was crazy. DMX, Canibus, Big Pun, Noreaga, Kurupt, Capadonna, Killah Priest, RZA, Cam'ron, Lauryn Hill, The Lox, Black Star....
A lot lived up to the hype, some didnt (Canibus )

I remember being in the car on an early June afternoon and hearing "N.O.R.E." for the first time on the radio and being and then when pops changed the station in the middle of it
