That year had so many anticipated debut albums it was crazy. DMX, Canibus, Big Pun, Noreaga, Kurupt, Capadonna, Killah Priest, RZA, Cam'ron, Lauryn Hill, The Lox, Black Star....
A lot lived up to the hype, some didnt (Canibus :snoop:)

I remember being in the car on an early June afternoon and hearing "N.O.R.E." for the first time on the radio and being :lawd: and then :mindblown: when pops changed the station in the middle of it

I'll look back at 2012 the same way :obama: major label debuts for:
Big K.R.I.T., Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz, Future, Frank Ocean, Meek Mill, French Montana

Say what you want, big year for debuts. Something for everyone.
