Well as I have matured and gained some wisdom through life experiences, I realize that the healthiest man/woman relationships are those that live according to GOD's design. Meaning, man is head of the household. A woman should be submissive to him and let him lead the family. Now submissive is for a man who GODLY and deserving of that position because he has his families best interest at heart not his own. In a her role as a woman she would provide her husband his needs so he can take care of his family and his woman will have all that she needs, wants and entitled to. So what happy fulfilled man not want to make his woman happy and give her all that she deserves? GOD'S model for relationships is a win win for everyone. That coming from a former "independent woman" banner carrier, doing it all on my own got played in my early 30's. My life is so much better now that I don't feel the need to run things.
