went back and listened to it for the first time in years again after it got name dropped in another thread of mine the other day.



crazy it's a decade between those albums, 1999/2009. time is a trip.

They're not really similar at all. I guess you could say that they're the only Eminem albums where the production has any kind of bounce. Also, it's ironic that Relapse is the album that Dre was most involved in.

Relapse is his third best album. The accents hold it back but Dre's production is very varied and unique and the serial killer concept is coherently executed by Em. I fukk with it more than The Eminem Show because them Eminem beats have aged like avocados.

there was a rumor that alot of the beats on this Dre meant for Detox...I don't know about that but I do know they were banging
it also contains 2 of my favorite Em tracks, "Beautiful" which was an older track and "Stay Wide Awake" where Em is rapping his ass off

Makes sense since all the beats were produced by Dre aside from Beautiful

The last good Em album. Sober Em is pretty bad... I hate that I like this joint as much as I do.

Id openly brag about it if the gay stuff wasn't so prevalent. Not tryna defend any of that nonsense.

Relapse was my 4th fav Em album after the big three, but I think I like TDOSS slightly better than it
