The first post of mine you quoted literally says “SINGLE PLAYER CONTENT IS PLAYABLE OFFLINE”
The other posts are in reference to a periodic online check in, in which case you would still be able to play games offline.

And that’s all I said in here. There’s nothing wrong with Always online if the functionality of the game is based on having an internet connection. Some very cool things can be done, like in
Flight simulator having a connection gets you more detail and better graphics. But if you don’t have a connection you can still play the game. Same with something like Elden Ring with the online stuff. But you can still play offline.
There’s no reason that if servers go off, you shouldn’t be able to do the single player license tests and stuff like that
