I currently have a Sony MDR-7506 Professional which i paid about $85 for and i'm very satisfied with it but i'm looking for something a little bit more lightweight/low profile for work. I'm willing spend $100 tops.
Anybody have the skull candy hesh 2.0's? They sounded pretty decent in target but I've heard mixed things about skull candy headphones long term.
If you want to get the M50s for just casual listening make sure you get the coiled cable
Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO
Shure 440 or 840
or Senniheiser 280 or 380
These are better than the M50s imo though.
I agree, im selling my 50s to get the dt 770's
i also had a pair of shure 940's, the model higher than those...they were incredible
oh one other thing threadstarter,
Alot of the headphones we are recommending.....they are going to sound better than anything u have ever heard...
but you must pay attention to the impedance on the headphones...its going to be listed as Ohms...
Higher Ohm levels will require an amp...
It sounds like this will be a kind of on the go situation for you....the dt 770 has a 32 ohm version which should be good for a ipod/android.
the m50's have a 38 ohm rating whch is fine.
anything past...ummmm.....idk i'd say 50 ohms would require an amp so u have to take that into consideration.
Beats by Dre are the quintessential headphones breh, stop being cheap and drop that 200
