Rearranging the lab , looking for suggestions and advices (PICS)

Summer is almost here and I'm looking to make some extra money on the side with studio recording sessions. I'm looking to make my current studio room into a control room and a mini office if possible. My recording booth is set at the moment, found this little nice corner with dead sound in the corner of my basement (outside the room). I have Tuesday and Wednesday off this week so I've been unloading all my gears from the room:

- Don't want to invest in dry walls at the moment cuz i dont want the room to leak any sounds at all (Based on my research and connects i ma need to invest lots of $$ for soundproof walls, need to play around with the sounds first and not trying to do at the moment cuz damn , i ain't balling like that).

SUGGESTIONS I'VE GOT SO FAR ARE:

- Split the room into to 2 using a curtain or panel from home depot and make one part office one part control. But the room is actually smaller than it looks. I don't like using my Studio CPU for business (email, inquires, etc). I don't even have internet connection on it for that purpose alone for the fact that end up playing around and making beats out of the blue and ish.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I know you don't wanna invest in drywall or anything,

but if you want some decent acoustical treatment (really not the best but looks nice)

Set it up with some Auralex. As long as the customer 'thinks' it 'looks' professional then the client will assume it is. How it looks when they walk in is everything.

I did my whole room for next to nothing lol.

Every single beat on my soundcloud cept maybe 5.

word, i was gonna post a pic of my setup (for laughs) when i saw OP's...then Kush comes thru and posts THAT and im glad i didnt upload a pic and embarrass myself with a ghetto ass setup

I built that desk for about 150-200$ and the foam was only like 500$.

It just looks nice it really wasn't very hard to do though. Or that expensive.

If you have an extra room to work in you can do this pretty quickly.

Those are the monitors I use in my bedroom, I got KRK's in the main studio, but yea if you go on my soundcloud I'd say the first 75 beats you'd hear were made in the ghetto ass picture lol, or headphones. In fact pretty much any beat people like I made in my bedroom.
