Depends on how fast you can take to the business. Even guys that took to it fast were in developmental for a few years. Brock was in OVW two years give or take a few months, and still did dark matches before he debuted on Raw. That’s definitely a rarity tho and Brock is a legit freak of nature.

Work notable markets consistently, making a name for yourself, give people a reason to see you kick ass or get your ass kicked.

Get higher up cards by doing the job and paying dues, figure how to get a gimmick defining spot or two in, find the balance between being a reliable draw but also consistently harder to book (by requesting or exerting more control, and also by having a known fuller schedule by which bookers have to respect your pull).

If your a wrestler...
Learn how to not get winded when you slam into the Mat.
Learn how to Sell and not get hurt.
Prepare to live in your car and drive all nighters.
Eat Convince store food.

You can probably start it within a month or two as a 2min Jobber. Although you won't see anything big for probably 5 years, unless you really bust your ass.
