Three Jewish detainees suspected of murdering a Palestinian youth have confessed to the crime police said on Monday, as Israelembarked on a wave of national soul searching over what appeared to be a racially-motivated revenged attack.
A day after announcing a dramatic breakthrough in a case that triggered rioting in Jerusalem and elsewhere, investigators said the three had re-enacted the murder of Mohammed Abu Khdeir, 16, at the site where his badly burned body was found on July 2.
Police arrested six Israelis on Sunday in a development that appeared to bolster the belief of Mohammed's family that he had been targeted by far-Right Jewish extremists in retribution for the murders of three Israeli teenagers whose bodies were found in the West Bank two days earlier.
The Palestinian youth is said to have been beaten and burned alive after being seized outside his home in East Jerusalem.
Three of those held are said to be minors. Shin Bet, Israel's domestic intelligence service, has been questioning all six suspects, the leader of whom was reported by Ynet, an Israeli news website, to be the son of an ultra-Orthodox rabbi from Jerusalem.
Now these Muslims want revenge on us in the US and the Jews.

The hostage taker who killed four people and wounded four others in a kosher supermarket in eastern Paris on Friday, called BFM-TV before he died to claim allegiance to Islamic State, saying he wanted to defend Palestinians and target Jews.
Coulibaly said he had jointly planned the attacks with the Kouachi brothers, who were responsible for the bloody attack on the offices of French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo on Wednesday. Police confirmed they were all members of the same Islamist cell in northern Paris.
