Real talk: Ryback is a terrible choice for a main event hoss

1.) Gimmick is too cartoony and one-dimensional
2.) He can't wrestle / doesn't have a unique move set. Other men who received similar pushes were either naturally athletically gifted (Lesnar) or were exceptionally agile for their size (Goldberg). This guy is neither.
3.) He's too short! This guy's billed at 6'2" or 6'3" but we know damn well dude looks more like 5'10". Yeah, he's built like a fukking brick shyt house, but he's so short he looks like one of those Napoleon complex dudes who go to the gym to overcompensate for their small stature. I've been watching videos of the Rock from 1998, and he would have been more of an intimidating hoss than Ryback on looks alone.

I think he could be a solid upper mid-carder, maybe even a 1 or 2x World Heavyweight Champion, but he is not convincing to me as a no-sell, Goldberg esque fighting machine.

Ryback shouldn't be in the main event this soon, but to be honest he's just like every other dude who's been in the main event scene for the past two years. Punk, D-Bry and Henry all stood out and that's why they worked as champs. If Cena wasn't recovering we definitely would have seen Cena vs. Punk IV. This whole Streak vs. Championship is the bait to get us to watch the ppv, but Ryback being in the main event signifies that some nonsense will go down in the finish.....most likely Lesnar getting involved

I'm not a fan of Rybacks like yourself, however, even I know he doesn't look like a guy with a napoleon complex.

Chris Benoit looked like that. Ryback isn't the tallest guy on the roster, yet he's far from looking like a jacked up short guy. He's easily over 6 feet.

My main concern about him is that he's a Wellness Policy suspension waiting to happen. He's a real risk to depend on for main event booking plans.
