Kurt Angle was told he needed a break this week on Raw so Constable Baron Corbin was made acting General Manager. This didn’t set too well with Angle, but he still took his vacation.

Joe Peisich from Barnburner’s Fired Up podcast said that WWE let Kurt Angle take a break from his GM duties for a very good reason.

“Kurt Angle was forced to take a sabbatical. Why? Because Kurt Angle is coming back not as the GM but as a wrestler. Yes, Kurt Angle will be a full-time wrestler when he comes back. I’ve heard he might come back in October. Look for him.”

Joe went on to say that even though Angle isn’t booked for the Super Show-Down in Australia, he will be taking part in the event.
