Are you sitting 2 feet in front of a 60-inch tv?

:mjlol:it ain't that hard, but if you're really bothered by it, learn a second language based on what you want to watch, that's what I did:troll:

People hate when I turn the captions on tv. I guess its because Im accustomed to reading subtitles to foreign films and anime since I was a kid but its not distracting to me. I put captions on everything except sports. If I miss something then I can always quickly glance down at the captions to see what was said. Most times aint shyt going on onscreen anyway to be distracted from, you're just reading the dialogue anyway.

Not that hard breh.
Close thread. Every year we get a thread like this. If you don't like to read subtitles during movies, either learn the language of the movie, try to decipher the language yourself, or don't watch the movie. It's pretty simple.

i read very quickly but it is slightly distracting because i tend to really focus on visuals and take the whole frame in, sometimes you finish reading, start to take the images in and then the scene changes. its not a big deal but it still is slightly annoying to my viewing experience
