Do you go out of your way to reach out to people you deem boring? I know this one dude that went to college with me in New York. When I first moved to ATL he let me stay with him for a few weeks until I found an apt. I've barely seen him over the last 3 years. I would invite him out all the time when I first moved here but he would always decline and just stay home. I haven't seen dude in over a year. I've stopped contacting him because I know he isn't down to do anything so why bother...

Do you have any ppl like this in your lives?

I'm probably that person. I admit I'm kind of boring. I've had plenty of people like coworkers try to invite me out and I decline and they slowly stopped asking and I don't mind.

More than likely this dude isn't even thinking about you and doesn't mind you not reaching out to him anymore or else he wouldn't turn you down in the first place. Why do you feel a social pressure to push the issue?

this dude isnt thinking about anything. how can you be a 20 something year old black man and sit home all the time in ATLANTA? No Girls, No Activities. We have other mutual friends from college in this city and those friends dont contact him anymore because they know he isnt going to leave the house.

bit of both

he went out all the time in college like 5 years ago. now he would rather sit home and watch tv all weekend. :old:

If the person's boring I don't go out of my way to invite them, I'm not down to entertain anyone.

I've dealt with introverts before though and a lot of time they're really fun and interesting as soon as they get comfortable with you. My roommate during my freshman year of college was like that and we're now best friends.

Some people are as miserable in social settings as you might be when you are alone and by yourself.

Maybe The Man Just doesn't enjoy your company..

Or you're boring as well..?

He doesnt enjoy anyone's company...

The last time we went out was to a club. I was bagging a lot of women and he was playing the wall. I tried to introduce him to some females but he fukked it up.

I usually make one attempt... after that fukk it.

Well the only exception is my wife's sister's fiance

Dude is very visually socially awkward off top, but he has Zero and I actually mean Zero friends in real life, He just works and plays Xbox at home and goes to the Casino with his Grandma and Mother. To make it even worse he doesn't like or watch ANY sports at all nor does he listen to rap music...

The only thing we have in common is that he smokes weed, so we got blowed one day and it seemed like he started opening up a lil bit, and we started cracking jokes and I thought all was good but then he told my wife's sister I was mean :dwillhuh:

I was probably talking about other people not him but I knew right then I was done fukkin with him and it was easy to see why the dude has 0 friends
