First off, :whew:. I sort forgot how good this show is. I'm noticing some funny stuff

- the dude Chris makes leave the bakery in season 1 is the actor who later plays Vito. Kind of funny seeing him pop up in a civilian role early in the show

- Tony is pretty reckless in season 1

- silvio and paulie's characters both change a lot throughout the course of the series; it's almost like they weren't quite sure what to do with them at first

- I wish p*ssy didn't snitch and get killed, he's great.

Same thing with Bobby Bachala.

Watching back makes you appreciate Richie Aprile so much more. Dude was :demonic: for real....a REAL PROBLEM

I've made the thread but they should've had jackie live for another season and had a different ending.

What Richie does to beansie is really demonic.

How would you have ended it with Jackie?

I re watched it recently for like the 4th time.

They shoulda kept p*ssy for at least 3 seasons

The episode with the Russian is the funniest episode of a drama ever

Richie shoulda lasted a little longer

The FBI agent may be the shyttiest agent of all time. He solves absolutely nothing the whole show

Pine barrens the GOAT tv episode. They should’ve stopped at Roy Rogers

Just finished Season 1 of the Sopranos on a re-watch.
  • Was there an explanation on why after the hit on Tony goes left Uncle Junior doesn't try to kill him again? It seemed like Junior was like, "Nevermind." and Tony's crew was able to kill two of his soldiers no problem and they didn't seem too worried about get back from them either.
  • This reminded me that when the show started and for a few seasons I thought the premise of the show was Tony was gonna eventually flip. There were a couple of attempts by the FBI this season and the name of the show seems to hint at that. Thinking about it now I'm kinda glad they didn't go that route tho.

Junior was under indictment IIRC so he was locked up until S2. He had to eat his soldiers getting clipped b/c that was a "fair" (by Mafia logic) response to an attempted hit, coupled with the indictment and lock up made Jr. unable to do much.

Also, deep down Tony loved junior and wanted his respect. I remember the scene in one of the first few S2 episodes where uncle Jun falls in the shower and Tony has to carry him up/down the stairs so most of that shyt was forgiven by then.

Thanks but I meant directly after the first attempt before Uncle Junior got arrested. It was botched Tony got out the hospital. All Tony's goons suspected Uncle Junior even when everyone came to Tony's house after he got back from the hospital. Junior didn't put a second attempt in motion, why?
