Scott Hall caused quite a stir on social media this week after making what he likely thought was a simple comment about the pro wrestling business.
Hall responded to a fan on Twitter who wrote about The British Bulldog and Lex Luger's "Allied Powers" tag-team being "everything a kid from the 1990s wanted out of a tag-team." The WWE Hall Of Famer responded with a quip, writing, "You mean failed singles wrestlers?"
Hall would go on to delete his tweet, however not before Georgia Smith, the daughter of The British Bulldog and Diana Hart, Bulldog's widow, responded to the comments.
Bulldog's daughter, Georgia Smith, wrote the following response:
"F**k you [Scott Hall], my Dad was not a failed man in ANY way. Don't have the fondest memories of you as a child, & haven't seen much recently that makes me think you've changed. 3 of your 5 best matches involved my family, & you didn't win one of them."
Diana Smith, Bulldog's widow, wrote the following:
"Well said @georgiasmith87 & I say @SCOTTHALLNWO overrates himself. He’s a jealous, bitter wrestler who hated taking bumps, never went off his feet, was lucky he got anywhere in wrestling w/his limited mentality & technical ability, but no limit to all of his fears aka weak!"
Matches currently scheduled for WrestleMania as of this week are John Cena vs. Undertaker, AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE title, Bobby Roode defending his US Title against Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal as well as both Raw and Smackdown women's matches (Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka). There's also the tease of the Bludgeon Brothers being in their first significant match competing for the WWE Smackdown tag team titles, probably against both the Usos and the New Day.
-- There's also the announced Intercontinental triple threat match between The Miz, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor (which could be expanded to include up to five wrestlers) as well as the finals of the Cruiserweight championship tournament and the Andre the Giant Memorial battle royal. There has been some talk of also having a women's battle royal as well as one-on-one match between Sasha Banks & Bayley.[/quote]
Asuka is better off to be in the b-side title match

With Jeff Hardy set to return from shoulder injury in the very near future, one of the rumors is that Matt and Jeff will team up to take Sheamus & Cesaro at WrestleMania for the WWE Raw Tag Team titles. While that match makes sense, that is actually not the plan right now as Sheamus & Cesaro are not pencilled in for any match at the PPV but rather be involved in some sort of an angle instead.
-- Another name being rumored to be included in the Intercontinental title match is Samoa Joe, who is nearing a return from a foot injury. With recent speculation that the triple threat IC title match will be expanded to include possibly five competitors, other names being mentioned are Elias and Strowman, but as noted in an earlier post, Braun is currently booked in for a non-wrestling segment.
