barrett is talented enough to be a top heel but him and del rio had the misfortune of bad booking...i thought barrett returning would have changed that but his return was underwhelming...meanwhile sandow and cawdy are putting in work as a team and cawdy has been floating between good and great for years now...i still cant believe nikkas thought he'd be marty janetty to ted dibiase...cody has the look, has the character range [the mask run was amazing] and the in ring ability to be a top star. plus he comes from a family of wrestlers who have be great character wise, mic wise, and solid ring wise...dude needs something to finally put him over the hump...bring those 2010-2011 wwe smackdown writers back and give his character depth again...

i repeat, that mask run was amazing

The worst part is that it would be so easy to bring it back and you know they won't.

After Sheamus gets the world title back, have him feud with Cody for a month or two. Have em do a kick vs kick match where the first one to land their finisher wins. Sheam gets screwed over when his next feud opponent (Cesaro or Barrett maybe) does a run in and Cody gets the win with the Beautiful Disaster. Sheam then does the whole ginger snap routine and gives Cody the biggest Brogue Kick ever, destroying his face. Cody is then off tv for a couple weeks recovering and comes back with the mask, more demented than ever.
