WWE Raw got hammered on Monday night against Week 1 of Monday Night Football, the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars, and other Fall TV premieres.

WWE Raw TV Ratings Tracking

September 12: WWE Raw scored a 1.88 TV rating, down 11 percent from a 2.11 rating on Labor Day.

Raw was down 21 percent from a 2.38 two weeks ago for the Universal Title match.

To put the rating in perspective, the 1.88 virtually matched the Fourth of July holiday episode, which scored a 1.87 rating.

Raw Post-Summerslam Trendline

  • Aug. 22: 2.34 TV rating
  • Aug. 29: 2.38 TV rating
  • Sept. 5: 2.11 TV rating
  • Sept. 12: 1.88 TV rating
– DEMOGRAPHICS: Raw was hit hard in adults 18-49, falling to a tie for the year-low with the Fourth of July.

Males 18-34 and males 18-49 also tumbled hard. M18-34 fell to the lowest point with the June 13 Raw against the NBA Finals.

And, males 18-49 fell 16 percent from last week and 24 percent from two weeks ago to a year-low.

– Raw’s three hours averaged 2.690 million viewers, down about 380,000 viewers (12.4 percent) from last week. The show was down about 700,000 viewers (21 percent) from two weeks ago.

  • First Hour: 2.833 million viewers
  • Second Hour: 2.717 million viewers
  • Third Hour: 2.520 million viewers (down nearly 1.0 million viewers from two weeks ago).
The third hour drew about the same number of viewers as the Fourth of July to join less-than-ideal company as one of the least-watched hours in the show’s history.

Raw’s top competition, Monday Night Football, averaged 12.9 million viewers, which is within the range of a typical doubleheader to open the season.

Caldwell’s Analysis: This is not a good start to the Fall TV season against so much TV competition. Thebooking has been all over the place since Kevin Owens won the Universal Title two weeks ago, and there is a lack of a clear lead babyface to driveinterest in the show following Finn Balor’s injury.WWE is going to have to do something to avoid hittingan all-time low at some point this Fall season.

:whew: No holiday either, MNF gonna kill em
