Went there for work back in may. Istanbul is somewhat american9zed which really surprised me. They have a popeyes and a bunch of american food places. The culture is cool but outside of the historical buildings I wasnt a big fan. A lot of luxury cars on the street though

How did the people treat you there?

Don't know much about it, first I've seen of it. Surprised to hear it was Americanized. Pics look nice.

Istanbul is transcontinental which means that one part of the city is in Europe and the other is in Asia. I always found that quite fascinating because your bound to be exposed to all sorts of different cultures, languages and people there.

Yeah I was gonna mention that it's the only city with that distinction. I think Turkey is a Muslim country correct? Don't think they usually get involved in the middle eastern beefs tho.

Yep, it’s a very Islamic country. Turkey doesn’t get involved in too much conflict but it is a major target for terrorists.

I love Istanbul. My aunt is married to a Turkish guy and lives there. Owns a restaurant there. My trip to Turkey was one of the best trips I ever went on. Travelled the whole country.

I went to the Blue Mosque and took off my Jordan cement 3s thinking no one would steal them at a mosque. Them shyts was gone when I came back. Luckily the mosque gave me slippers to wear :francis:. A breh got his Lebron's jacked too. :snoop:

That’s wild. A mosque would be one of the last places I expect anyone to steal in. :francis:

I didnt have any issue to be honest. Mostly everyone was friendly. I didnt have any racial issues but I'm sure they are there. I saw a few African people living there.

Women wise, compared to America I would put not like this. Istanbul had a lot of pretty women but the crazy part a lot of them worked at fast food spots or regular jobs. You dont see that in America
