Seems too close to the border for me. Isn't Juarez one of the most dangerous Mexican cities? Wonder how the cartel influence is in El Paso. Looks like your average city. Nothing too special I'd imagine.

You can see the fence right off of I-10. Haven’t stayed there, or visited the city exclusively, but on a trip from Houston to Los Angeles, I stopped through.

Doesn’t seem like a place I’d want to live or visit to be honest

A lot of drug smugglers pass through El Paso from what I heard. Back in the 90s it was one of the most dangerous cities in America but now I don’t think it is too bad anymore.

Side note; there are border checkpoints all throughout the I-10 in SW TX, NM, and ARZ. My boy and I drove through a few of them, and I don’t remember them being too thorough in their search. Maybe it was because we were a couple nikkas driving through. All they did was ask if we were citizens, and let us on our way

the latinas are thirsty here I heard, a lot of military folk which can be detrimental, lot of latinos in general so make of that what you will.

Right across from the border so that can be beneficial in visiting Mexico but the next city over is juarez Mexico which is wild as hell.

Used to live out there as a kid (folks were stationed at Fort Bliss). :wow:

Been trying to get back to the state ever since I had to leave.

Biased rating would be a 10. Objectively it's closer to a 7, I'd wager (haven't been back in a WHILE). It was quiet from what I remember. Had what you needed no problem.

All around solid city.

It's a close knitted city very affordable cost of living especially going by house worth
We are getting bigger quickly and getting more stores
Big military city that is for sure
Good food with variety of choices
Doesnt get cold often here either
Club life is trash to me out here if ur bout that then again mostly anywhere is cuz everybody on there damn phones :snoop:
When it use to be cold approach easily or eye contact
Love the housing market out here tho
Got a highly rated school district too

What it comes down too is if u want a affordable living simple life with good weather this is a good spot to be in

Been there before for work... Didn't seem like it was much to do there. At least they have mild winters
