Very scenic place that probably gets overlooked a little bit because it shares a state with Vegas. Lake Tahoe's proximity is a plus.

Probably better off for those who want some of Vegas' offerings without having to deal with ALL of what comes with Vegas.

It's cool.

It's just a little more than a two hour drive from me so it's a nice weekend getaway.

Just because it's in Nevada and has casinos doesn't mean it's like Vegas . That's where the similarities stop.

The area around it has grown a lot in the past ten years. Yes, it's more family friendly when comparing it to Vegas .

Has a nightlife . Lot of big name acts comeup , especially during the Summer.

More affordable than Vegas and South Lake Tahoe isn't too far away .

Like I said , comparing it to Vegas is giving yourself a huge culture shock in not a good way. Its like a bigger Downtown Vegas pretty much .

Flying in on Saturday, gonna be here for about 6 weeks. Get to spend time back home in Sac during my time here. I know it's almost no black folk in Reno so ain't no point in asking what things are geared fir black people here...

And for me, Vegas is wildly overrated. I don't expect Reno to be this popping ass city but I don't think Vegas will be much better...

Ay bruh, this shyt is popping. Way better than Vegas, only real drawback is there are fewer black folk here and it's kinda small. But this is a popping ass city. Staying over here in that Red/Element district...
