The girls, food, music and vibes are always right and among the best on the island. imo it’s the perfect blend of the island vibes with some 1st world westernized culture influence.

It’s funny because whenever you bring it up to foreigners they’ll say some shyt like isn’t Kingston the most dangerous part of the island, when in fact montego bay is right now

My mom took a cruise to Jamaica a year ago and she was scared to venture into Kingston because of all the stories she heard about that place.

Don’t get me wrong i’m only mid 20s but I have heard plenty of stories of Kingston and how it used to be. The crime isn’t as random now and as long as you ain’t doing nothing stupid and wandering somewhere you obviously shouldn’t or showing off jewelry or some shyt you’ll be straight. Hell there are parts of Kingston in the hills where ALL you see are cacs and it even feels like a different country at times

I tried telling her that as long she sticks to the tourists areas and don’t wander around too much she should be straight but she still wasn’t having it. She had no problem going into other parts of Jamaica though but even then she said that the vibe there felt very scary and intimating.

I too have heard of the supposed danger there but never been. I know the food is delicious and the ocean and mountains in those pics look very nice. Only time I been to Jamaica was on a cruise some years back and I think it stopped at some place called Ocho Rios cuz they had some waterfall attraction there that you could climb up.

Dunn's Waterfall... I stayed at Beaches Resort in Ocho Rios. and Dunn's Waterfall was like 15 mins where we stayed, never went... had a small child and didnt want to risk him getting hurt going up the waterfalls.
