Vandy outranks Atlanta best school, Emory.
It has 3 HBCU’s, like Atlanta.
A strong black middle class, like Atlanta.

However, unlike Atlanta, it has an identity.

Im a South Central/Watts nikka myself....didn't really start going to compton until I got older and it seems a little turned down from what I gathered...It's still compton don't get me wrong but nothing wha tit was like in the 90's

I've been there once and it was like a regular ass hood. There was literally nothing to do there as a tourist. Why didnt this just be apart of the LA category or we gonna do Yonkers and Oak Park too?

I'd give it a 4 just because of the hip hop scene. If not that then maybe a 2?

Guess it would depend on where I was in life.

Outside of Memphis, Nashville is the only other city in Tennessee that I personally feel comfortable in as a AA. Plus in 2020 they’re about to open the national museum of African American Music in downtown Nashville as well
