Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Lmao the irony that NYC and London are tied.

Anyway I’d love to visit this South African city one day but damn the issues they have with crime and all the stealers that exist there is not a good look.

I met a ADOS lady whose been touring Africa a bit and she said if you walk down the street and see a men in pairs or in groups than you better walk the other way

She said at night the streets are empty in many areas because of the crime.

The pictures look nice but I don't know if that tells the whole story of the city. Don't know much about the city or culture or cuisine there. What's the vibe of the city like? I see that lots of crime was mentioned. Not sure if that'll be attractive to tourist. Not really high on my list of African cities to visit. Would prefer to see the pyramids and check out one of those safaris. Maybe one day I'll get the chance to experience the city or any other major African one.

Gave it an 8, but should be 8.5

Arguably one of the most accessible cities in Africa.

OP, that 6th picture isn’t of Jo’Burg by the way.

Pros:
-Great nightlife
-Great looking women. SA women are just too damn thick. It makes no damn sense :wow:
-One of the most unique African cultures
-Great weather
-Most developed African market with very good infrastructure. Western infrastructure at African prices.

Cons
-High rate violent crime. Even as a seasoned Nigerian I was on my Ps and Qs. Nigeria is “rough”, SA is “violent”.
-Still a very suppressed black population
-SA being at the bottom of Africa makes it kind of insular and removed from the rest of Africa. Things are however changing due to the internet.

EDIT: I feel like this has to be rated regionally. On the African continent, Jozi is only rivaled by Lagos. Similar to NYC and LDN.
