Man times have changed. ..............Times have changed.

Uncle used to own a beach house in surfside(brazoria county) close by.

Hit up the kappa(if you know you know) twice before they shut it down.

Use to go there fishing with my folks as a kid a lot, and still join 'em from time to time occasionally.

Love G-Town. Best seafood around, easily.

Giving it an 8 off the strength.

Needs legalized MJ. Should be an experimental pilot project city for Texas.

Needs a high speed rail connection to Houston, so traffic can get some relief during busy season, plus you would get more steady stream of visitors year round. It's less than an hour from downtown Houston with good traffic, but an hour to 90 mins from other parts of metro.

Wish I was old enough or in the area to have checked out Kappa Beach Party.

People from Houston use it as the go to beach/"real" water spot. Do a one day yacht party and still be back home in same day or next morning. If Galveston ever was a casino spot, Lake Charles, LA as the go to casino spot would be
