Mobility
I have family there and only visited once about 5 years back.

Pros:
People seemed very friendly, in a genuine way. Not like certain customer service over the phone or found in a large American city type of way.
They have a fair amount of attractions, I personally only went to the tall building with an observation deck, a casino, and one of their museums. But they got pro sports teams and parks too.
Pretty close by to some nature if you want to take a day trip out to the mountains.

Cons:
I'm from a big city and didn't explore it terribly well as I was only there for a short amount of time, but it seemed like the majority of its nightlife was restricted to two streets.
If you don't got a car it's gonna but a cramp on your nights out.
Seems like you could do everything worthwhile within a few days there.

Sidebar: this is the only place in Canada I've ever been to so far.

I gave it a 6.

Last time I went was in 2008. Seemed real small townish for a city with a million plus people. Nightlife was decent.

Lots of friends have moved there for better careers. Housing is relatively cheap compared to Vancouver or Toronto. They bought big houses for what I spent on a condo :francis:.

I'm actually planning to check out the Stampede this year.
