Just came back a few weeks ago from there, it was nice. Food was cheap but alcohol was close to U.S prices but overall prices were lower. Did not have a lot of time so spent most of it in the "nice" areas like Jardins and Pinherios, and the neighborhoods around it but got to go to Museum Afro Brazil and others. Also checked out the rua 25 de Marco, a packed market and stores around the street. I want to go back for Carnival but will see how my schedule works out during that time.

But i give it an 8 for now since i had fun but barely saw the city while i was there.
