Next month, the United States will finally receive the Ratchet and Clank Collection. This PS3 compilation of three classic PS2 games, which hit Europe and Australia in late June, will be accompanied by two bonuses. Sony's decided to reward Americans for the longer wait.
The R&C Collection has HD remasters of Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal. Each game has been updated with 1080p visuals, stereoscopic 3D and Trophies. The online multiplayer of Up Your Arsenal is supported as well.
Everyone who buys the bundle in the US will get a Ratchet & Clank 10th anniversary avatar. More importantly, though, they'll get exclusive early access to the demo for Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time. Thieves is an action platformer like the Ratchet series so I suspect there's plenty of overlap in their fanbases.
The R&C Collection will arrive on August 28th here in the United States.
