GOAT lyricist

"Dark skin, my pants sag, color me nikka
Some of my homies flag blue rags, some on the B-Side like Lord Digga"

Without a doubt. Ras is the reason for rhyming imo I never known anybody to flip words as effortlessly as dude when he's on his game. Soul On Ice is the album I wish I could make and be remembered for, other nikkas is just dope.

Catch distortion, Ras cancels kids like abortions

Dead ass. I write and Ras is my biggest influence. His wordplay was so effortless yet more complex than anyone I ever heard. He had better punchlines in 1995 than most "lyrical" rappers have in 2014.

"fukk a tree, my sentences provide the photosynthesis
I leave the god damn rap world suffocating
A New Jack ain't nothing but a recent masturbation"

Same here, I still can't put my finger on it. He did say he used to read a lot and he used to argue topics with his mother a lot and she would make sure he knew what he was talking about. If not she would make him read the full paper then quiz him on it to make sure he had read it :russ:

If I have kids I'm gonna do the same kinda thing. That feeling when you argue with your kid and they outsmart you using logic and reason you taught them must be :sadcam::upsetfavre::patrice::ooh::krs::wow::to::ohlawd:

Songs like Interview with a vampire, Nature of the threat and The Seance are just :ohlawd:. If any other rapper could make those kinda songs they would be in my top 10 instantly. Lyrical Genius and I'm not using that term lightly.

:lolbron:

I mean when he was young I think like ages 7-11 been a while since I read the interview. Not that reading made him smart just I remember him saying his mams would pick his theories apart and really make him defend his stance. He's made a lotta stupid decisions but I get the feeling he is probably a smart guy(when sober).
