Rapper memory...??

Ever think about how people can barely remember shyt they actually read in papers, books etc...at best they remember the "outline", the rough cut of the words and sentences.

But when it comes to rap...you remember all kinds of verses, word by word. And think about actual rappers, those who got few albums under their belt.

How is that possible? How many gigarams is in their head?

as far as the MC's go, they are writing the words down and that's a better way to make you remember things because you have to physically write the shyt down. as for listeners, how many time do you listen to a song/album compared to read a magazine or book or paper? not to mention i remember back in my day when you couldn't buy scores of albums a week like you can download these days so when you bought an album you listened to it a LOT more than the average these days.

i STILL remember albums like Bacdafucup, Straight Outta Compton, Bow Down, Doggystyle, 36 Chambers etc word for word because i listened to them thousands of times

repetition is how people learn. if you hear a song enough you learn it.

if you read a book once you wont remember it word from word. if you read the same book hundreds of times you probably would be able to recite whole chapters.

This...pretty much mental muscle memory...and it helps that in most cases the cadence that you deliver it in helps you remember what comes next even if you couldn't recall it verbatim
